Samantha Cameron is furious about an attempt to smear her marriage made in Lord Ashcroft’s new book about the Prime Minister.

A source close to her told The Sun: ‘Ashcroft has come up with yet another damaging smear in his war against the Prime Minister.
The allegation in the book is just a throwaway couple of lines but if it were to be believed by readers it would cause immense damage to Mrs Cameron.
