A horrified father has slammed Disney after a doll from its hit film Inside Out started expressing “suicidal thoughts”.
Andrew Smith, 34, bought the talking doll – named Sadness – for his 11-year-old daughter Regan at a Disney store.
The £15.95 toy is part of a collection of five characters from the animated film, which will hit cinemas across the UK tomorrow.
But Andrew was shocked when he returned home and overheard the doll voicing “suicidal comments” when his daughter pressed its right hand, reports the Daily Record.
Sadness says phrases such as: “Crying makes me slow down and obsess over the weight of life’s problems.”
“I’m in an emotional slump – my legs don’t work. Give me an hour.”
“Goodbye friendship, hello loneliness.”
