As more doctors and oncologists are being exposed for diagnosing healthy patients with cancer for kickbacks a financial rewards from pharmaceutical companies, they are being held responsible for their crimes and misrepresenting their oaths. Some are now facing their victims.
Dr. Farid Fata, a prominent cancer doctor in Michigan who admitted in court to intentionally and wrongfully diagnosing healthy people with cancer will face his victims. Fata admitted to giving patients chemotherapy drugs for the purpose of making a profit. Fata pled guilty after acknowledgement in his part of a healthcare fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy scheme.
He also stated that he was well aware that the cancer treatments were “unnecessary” and “excessive.” It’s obivous Dr. Fata was only a puppet and part of a larger operation in the $35-million Medicare fraud scheme that involved billing the government millions for medically unnecessary oncology and hematology treatments.
