A sick paedophile has a chance of avoiding being jailed for hoarding ‘depraved’ child sex abuse images – because a prison does not have Wi-Fi.
Ex-army captain Phillip Dutfield has been caged twice before in 2006 because of his perverted obsession with the sick images.
The 61-year-old’s disgusting collection included the worst kind of abuse, and even featured extreme bestiality porn, a court was told.
Dutfield was expected to be jailed on Monday for breaching orders relating to his past offences, however his legal team threw a spanner in the works.
Tom Dunn, defending vile Dutfield, told a judge that his pacemaker requires Wi-Fi to ensure it is “picked up” by the NHS.
