Paedophile could dodge jail because prison doesn’t have the Wi-Fi he needs

A sick paedophile has a chance of avoiding being jailed for hoarding ‘depraved’ child sex abuse images – because a prison does not have Wi-Fi.

Ex-army captain Phillip Dutfield has been caged twice before in 2006 because of his perverted obsession with the sick images.

The 61-year-old’s disgusting collection included the worst kind of abuse, and even featured extreme bestiality porn, a court was told.

Dutfield was expected to be jailed on Monday for breaching orders relating to his past offences, however his legal team threw a spanner in the works.

Tom Dunn, defending vile Dutfield, told a judge that his pacemaker requires Wi-Fi to ensure it is “picked up” by the NHS.
