Two children who ran away from a care home on Saturday night are believed to have boarded a train to London.
Officers said they were concerned for the welfare of 12-year-old Kieran Sampson and his friend, Amy Dilworth, who is 15.
Both vanished overnight from the care home where they were living in Berkshire and were thought to have caught a train after being captured on CCTV last night at a local train station.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said that it was not known whether the children had any money with them when they ran away from the home in Burghfield Common, near Newbury, Berkshire.
‘We are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a boy and girl who are both missing from Burghfield Common,’ said the spokesman.
