Parents are furious after their children were told they could be expelled for using the wrong type of rucksack and claim they are forced to queue at a ‘poor door’ if they don’t have one.
Seaford Head School in East Sussex says that pupils must buy an official £15 backpack or be forced to carry their books and lunch in plastic bags.
In response parents are calling for a change in uniform policy after the school themselves admitted their branded rucksacks were poorly made.
