Hi there,

I’m a reporter at BBC Newsnight. We’re looking into allegations of sexual abuse at children’s homes in the 1970s/80s at the moment. I saw some interesting research about this on your website. Could someone at the organisation possibly give me a call to discuss how you might be able to help us out?

Certainly, I am happy to let you know all the info I have been told over the years. From Harvey Proctor, Leon Britain, Cliff Richard, Ted Heath, Kenneth Clarke, associates like those that helped in the transport such as the helicopters involved in the Westland Affair, driving VIP’s to Children’s homes. Jeffery Archer and another can’t remember the name just now who bought the tie shop for Proctor to hush him up… all sorts. Anyway the main one was a guest House in Barnes and I named all those people apart from Kenneth Clarke where there is no evidence of him being involved in anything just gossip about him having kids to mentally ill patients in hospitals.

This industry is so old fashioned now and I am glad that it is being smashed to bits,. Sentencing needs to be life to really do the deed!!!

I am very busy this week but perhaps at the weekend I can get back to you with anything I have it’s just the case files are all in storage.

Best

Jo

Think Lord Sewel is bad? These are the seven deadliest sinners in the House of Lords

Some people, such as the Prime Minister, think that Lord Sewel should quit the House of Lords after apparently being caught in a sex and drugs sting. What they do not realise is that John Buttifant Sewel was simply upholding the finest traditions of the Upper House.

Indeed his exploits look positively tame compared to some. If you really want to see a rogue in ermine, check out this list – gathered from our extensive obituaries archive – of seven deadly miscreant peers.

7. The 5th Lord Vivian (Conservative, died 1991)

Anthony Vivian became a national celebrity in 1954, when he was shot by Mavis Wheeler, the former wife of Sir Mortimer Wheeler and the former mistress of Augustus John. At the trial, the principal problem for both the defence and the prosecution was that Vivian himself did not seem to be clear about what had happened.

He admitted to the court that during the time between his arrival at the cottage that day and the shooting that night he had drunk a quarter bottle of wine, three liqueurs, seven to eight glasses of sherry, three to four bottles of stout and “possibly two other drinks”.

Female rapist faces jail after being found guilty of running paedophile ring which subjected five young children to horrific abuse over more than a decade

Female rapist faces jail after being found guilty of running paedophile ring which subjected five young children to horrific abuse over more than a decade

A female rapist has been found guilty of running a paedophile ring which subjected five young children to sexual and physical abuse over more than a decade.

Ten people – including six women – were on trial accused of the child sex abuse which is said to have centred around Marie Black, 34, of Norwich.

She denied 26 offences at Norwich Crown Court but today, after 19 hours of deliberations and a three-month trial, the jury convicted her of all but three counts.

She was found guilty of offences including rape, conspiracy to rape and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Black sobbed uncontrollably in the dock as the verdicts were delivered.

Michael Rogers, 53, from Romford, Essex, was also found guilty of 14 counts including cruelty, rape and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Jason Adams, 43, from Norwich, was found guilty of 13 similar counts.

Carol Stadler, 59, from Norwich, was found guilty of assault causing actual bodily harm but cleared of nine other charges, including serious sexual assaults.

The remaining defendants – Anthony Stadler, 63, Nicola Collins, 36, Andrew Collins, 52, Judith Fuller, 31, Denise Barnes, 43, and Kathleen Adams, 85, all from Norwich – were cleared of all counts.

Many of the defendants have become good at appearing normal and respectable.

‘This is what you would have to do in order to be child abusers to the extent alleged here.’

Child aged THREE identified as extremism risk by counter-terror project which now refers children every day

Child aged THREE identified as extremism risk by counter-terror project which now refers children every day

A child aged just three is among hundreds identified as being at risk of radicalisation, it emerged today.

With fears growing about children and teenagers being drawn into terrorism, a project set up by the Home Office in the wake of the 7/7 bombings has reported a sharp rise in the number of youngsters being referred including dozens under the age of 12.

Since it was rolled out nationwide in 2012, the youngest person involved has been a child aged three whose whole family was referred.

Ministers vowed to challenge the ‘twisted narrative that has corrupted some of our vulnerable young people’.

Officers from the Channel project have previously revealed how a child drawing bombs and guns or writing about wanting to be a suicide bomber can lead to a referral.

Between April 2012 and June 2014 a total of 834 under 18-year-olds were reported to Channel.

Around one in ten – 84 – were under 12, data from the National Police Chiefs Council ( NPCC) obtained by the Press Association shows.

Security Minister John Hayes said: ‘As a country, we have a duty to challenge, at every turn, the twisted narrative that has corrupted some of our vulnerable young people.

Outrage as Parliament computers access porn sites 20,000 TIMES a month

More than 247,000 attempts to visit X-rated sites were made on the parliament’s network last year.

It is not known specifically what websites the computers were trying to access or how long was spent on the pages.

It adds to a shocking total of 350,000 visits in 2013, including 75,000 in November and 69,000 in April.

The astonishing figures, disclosed to Express.co.uk under Freedom of Information laws, come amid the Conservatives’ crackdown on online porn.

David Cameron had previously promised to block hardcore porn from “the darkest corners of the internet” by default because he claims it is “corroding childhood”.

Well he would, wouldn’t he ? Ken Clarke tells court: sexual assault claims are preposterous

The former chancellor of the exchequer Ken Clarke has denied molesting a young actor, describing the allegation as “like Martians landing”.

Ben Fellows, 40, from Birmingham, is on trial at the Old Bailey accused of perverting the course of justice by making up a false claim against Clarke.

Fellows claimed the politician had plied him with alcohol and carried out the sexual assault in the office of political lobbyist Ian Greer during a cash-for-questions sting operation by ITV’s The Cook Report in 1994.

In the autumn of 2012, he told national news reporters about the alleged assault, and stories were published in print and online, jurors at the Old Bailey were told on Monday.

He went on to make a statement to police after being interviewed by officers as part of Operation Fairbank – the high-profile investigation into historical child sex abuse at Westminster.

In it he claimed he had been assaulted while working as an undercover actor for the Cook Report and that there were a number of people who had also worked on the show at the time who were aware of the alleged assault.

Giving evidence, Clarke was asked if there was any truth in Fellows’ allegation. He replied: “It was quite a detailed allegation about place, incident – nothing to do with me. Apparently, while chancellor of the exchequer I was hanging around the office of Ian Greer and groped a man. My recollection was it was like Martians landing.”

Surrender in the war on knotweed menace: Government gives up fight on hazardous weed

THE Government has been forced to give up the fight against Japanese knotweed in Britain.

After decades trying to tackle the problem the Government now says knotweed is too expensive to destroy.

With annual costs running at £1.5billion, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Minister George Eustice said: “There are no plans to attempt a national eradication because the cost would be prohibitively expensive and likely to be unsuccessful given the widespread distribution of the species.”

Marijuana legalization petition hits enough signatures for UK parliament debate

Marijuana legalization petition hits enough signatures for UK parliament debate

A petition for the full legalization of marijuana in the UK has gathered more than 130,000 signatures in just four days, which means that the lawmakers must now consider debating it in Parliament or at least officially respond to the query.

The electronic petition, created by James Richard Owen, calls for the legalization of the production, sale and use of cannabis and currently has close to 135,000 signatures since being launched on Tuesday.

The campaign also argues that the drug is “safer than alcohol,” has been used by mankind for over 4,000 years, and was outlawed in the UK only in 1925.

Since the e-petition reached the required minimum of 100,000 signatures the MPs will now be forced to debate the declassification of the substance.

“There’s roughly three million adult [cannabis] smokers in the UK and I don’t think it’s right for the government to be criminalising such a large section of society,” Owen, an economics student at Aberystwyth University, told the Guardian.

The creator of the petition argues that UK is just wasting money on policing an issue that has been legalized in a number of countries across the world.

Three scientists investigating melting Arctic ice may have been assassinated, professor claims

Three scientists investigating melting Arctic ice may have been assassinated, professor claims

Hard on the heels of the mysterious deaths of a number of holistic doctors dying or vanishing, this appears in the msm

A Cambridge Professor has made the astonishing claim that three scientists investigating the melting of Arctic ice may have been assassinated within the space of a few months.

Professor Peter Wadhams said he feared being labelled a “looney” over his suspicion that the deaths of the scientists were more than just an ‘extraordinary’ coincidence.

But he insisted the trio could have been murdered and hinted that the oil industry or else sinister government forces might be implicated.

The three scientists he identified – Seymour Laxon and Katherine Giles, both climate change scientists at University College London, and Tim Boyd of the Scottish Association for marine Science – all died within the space of a few months in early 2013.
